So in this post i will try to explain a server in a very simplistic manner. A server is a centralized machine/hardware/software which serves other machines/hardware/softwares called clients. By centralized we mean that the server is responsible for storing and processing of data for its clients which may be at a remote place and are connected to server which is at yet another place.
